Michigan Education Association backs Kate Segal
Democrat Kate Segal has been endorsed by the Michigan Education Association in her bid for the state House 62nd District seat.

"I am proud and honored to have the support of the Michigan Education Association and all of the hard-working educators and families it represents," Segal said. "If elected, I will stand up for Michigan's students and working families, and I'll continue to fight to make college education more affordable and accessible. Together, we can make a positive change that will benefit Calhoun County residents."

State Rep. Mike Nofs, R-Battle Creek, currently represents the 62nd District, which encompasses most of Calhoun County, but is term limited out of office this year.
